Wow! This is a teeny little restaurant in the corner of the shopping center that you could easily drive past And miss, but inside is some amazing. The lunch special is a three ribs soup with squash and spices. It tastes delicious. They have sides of rice with plantain (banana) on it and pinto beans. In a top-tier Hispanic restaurant, I would expect to pay 25 for this, or not be able to find it at all. This is great food, it is great atmosphere, it's a clean and well-kept restaurant, and the waitstaff and kitchen staff are attentive, timely, and accommodating.
I am delighted. I hope to bring my sweetie here for a date dinner. -

Satisfying experience. Pleasant service, tasty food, reasonable prices. Nothing to complain about, and nothing to rave about either. My favorite thing was the healthy serving of cassava (yucca) fries for $3.50. Most places that serve these give half the serving for the same price.
I got some beef empanadas to go. Wasn't nuts about them. I like the crust, but something about the the filling didn't cut it.
The tres leches cake wasn't my favorite either. -

The ONLY authentic Latin place in the area. Empanadas on point, coco candies, jugos, and authentic Colombian cuisine. Thanks guys, too many people call themselves "authentic" around here.
Keep it up. -

I can't believe this place is in Beavercreek, OH! I came while visiting my parents and would be here all the time if I still lived in the Dayton area. Wow!! I am blown away. Great portions for the price and the food is absolutely incredible. I had the chicken Chuzos and both a chicken and beef empanada. The potatoes were perfectly roasted and the chicken marinade was delicious. The pineapple gratin was DELECTABLE - kind of like a pineapple upside down cake.
I do think there could be more spice, but understand the market they're working in I can't recommend this place enough! The art and decor is awesome. Truly a gem in the Gem City. -

We were pretty excited to try out La Colombiana for dinner, but the food was average and service was almost non-existent.
For starters, we shared the Empanadas con Aji, two beef and two vegetable. These were pretty good - the beef was my favorite! I also loved their spicy aji sauce and poured that on everything.
We also shared the Picada for 2 which was small cuts of chicarron which is pork belly, chorizo, morcilla which is blood sausage, arepitas, fried potatoes, fried yucca, fried plantains, tomato wedges, and aji sauce. The pork belly and arepitas were pretty tough and hard to chew, but I enjoyed the fried yucca, plantains, and potatoes a lot. Didn't like the morcilla but I think that's an acquired taste.
